Almost 15 years ago Daniel and Jacqueline started an adventure that none of us could have predicted. A very special puppy entered their lives… Giono du Bois du Tot …. Who would have thought that this little sable male puppy would make such an impact on the Belgian World…

Giono was the first born of the famous combination of Carey x Daphne, repeated 5 times….with each puppy having to follow along and try to compete with Giono’s long list of accomplishments.

Completing his requirements for the prestigious title of French Championship, winning both Nationals along the way. But the conformation ring wasn’t the only avenue that Giono traveled. Success in the agility ring was also in the cards for him.

We can’t say enough about this ‘once in a life time’ friend.   A complete dog with great presents, character and a true ambassador of the breed.  A wonderful ambassador for Bois du Tot, one we have always admired and been so very proud of.

For Daniel and Jacqueline, the 15 years was much to short. They would have loved to have had him with them longer, but the time had come to say Good Bye. 

February 12, 2006, the Belgian world lost a simply spectacular dog …. On February 12, 2006, Daniel and Jacqueline lost one of their best friends….

Giono, you were special from day one…. You left your imprint on all that were lucky enough to cross your path… I’m sure you will be in the hearts and minds of many for years to come...and you will always be a big part of the history of not only Bois du Tot, but of all Belgians around the world.
